Brad Philips

Brad Phillips is a writer, editor, and artist with more than fifteen years of experience publishing fiction, essays, criticism, and cultural journalism. His work has appeared in The Paris Review, Playboy, Granta, Purple Magazine, and many other notable publications. He is the author of Essays & Fictions (Tyrant Books), a widely acclaimed short story collection exploring the overlap between autobiography and fiction, praised by Anthony Bourdain as “searingly honest, brilliant, and disturbing.”

Brad has an extensive background in developmental editing, line editing, and manuscript consultation, working with writers at all stages of a project. He brings a clear, precise editorial approach informed by his experience writing about art, psychology, literature, and personal narrative. He has taught writing workshops, edited client manuscripts across genres, and helped emerging writers shape books, essays, and screenplays.

D. Prescott

D. Prescott has been an author, proofreader, and editor for over a decade, with over 100 titles to their name. Specializing in romance, sci-fi, and fantasy but open to all genres of writing, they’ve worked with multiple authors to put titles on the Amazon bestseller lists and have assisted authors in getting signed by large publishing houses. They’ve also helped small project writers with projects near and dear to their hearts, such as translation and localization of Japanese children’s books.

A military veteran, D. brings that same sense of thoroughness, dedication, and timeliness to any project they work on, whether it’s a short poem, a collection of family recipes, or a sci-fi epic spanning thousands of pages.
